Joaquin Gonzalez

Joaquin Quino Gonzalez, 33, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 13, 1980. He married Kelly Julie Ann Kucala on May 18, 2002 in Chicago. He served in the Air Force from 1999 until 2003.

Joaquin was the ultimate Chicago Bulls fan, loved the Chicago Bears and spending time with his sons.

He is survived by his wife Kelly, sons Enice, Joaquin Jr. and Isaiah, parents Rosa and Felix Oquendo, brothers  Benny, Felix and Valentino and sisters Naomi, Monica and Rosa. Preceded in death by grandparents Esperanza and Benito and his brother Valentino.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
