He loved fishing and shared his passion with his family and friends.

He worked at the Naval Supply Depot in Clearfield and at DDO, retiring after 36 years of service. During his tenure he served as Vice President for the AFGE union for more than 2 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, his son, Jimmy B. (Susan) Duran, his daughter, Joan (Larry) Underwood, ten grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Also surviving are two brothers, two sisters and a large extended family.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Wintle and Hospice for Utah.

"Fear not Joe, for the Lord is walking home with you. I will miss you darling just like the stars would miss the sky. Goodbye for now until we meet again, your loving wife of 65 years. ~Bernice
