Joe R. Gonzales

Our loving, son, brother and father, Joe R. Gonzales died Monday, July 16, 2012 of natural causes.

He was born September 15, 1975 in Ogden, Utah to George and Virginia Martinez Gonzales.

Joe enjoyed working on his cars and was a member of "Sik-wit-it" Car Club, playing pool, fishing, softball and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his mother, Virginia Martinez, step-father, Alfonso Martinez, a son, George Gonzales, three daughters, Alexia "dubby", Arriana, Samantha, and three sisters, Cherrish Martinez, Margaret Gonzales and Rita Leon.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, George L. Gonzales, grandmothers, Rita Martinez Chavarria Margaret Gonzales and grandfathers, Joe I. Martinez and Olegaro Gonzales.

He will be missed by all of his aunts, uncles, cousins'' friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21st at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven.

The family will meet with friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary. Interment at a later date.
