Joel David Gaerte

Joel David Gaerte, our beloved son, husband, and father, returned to his Heavenly Father on September 25, 2014.  Joel was born May 15, 1978 in Bountiful, Utah to Dennis Eugene and Bonnie Tucker Gaerte.

Joel graduated from Woods Cross High School and Weber State University, with a Masters of Professional Accountancy.  Joel served an LDS Church mission in the Germany Hamburg Mission.

Joel was sealed for time and all eternity to Ronni Jo Pierson in the Salt Lake Temple on February 9, 2001.  Joel was a loving husband to his wife and a wonderful father to their three children.  Joel is survived by his wife, Ronni Jo, their children, Cobi Joel, Lukas Tucker, and Shayla Jolyn, his siblings, Jami (Jim) Allmendinger, Hal (Kris) Gaerte, Kyle Gaerte, and Paul (Jen) Gaerte, in-laws Ron and Nani Pierson, Kent (Shanlee) Pierson, Brent (Jasmin) Pierson, and Kate (Adam) Hunsaker, and grandparents, Cleon and Betty Tucker, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Bountiful 24 ^th Ward Chapel, 720 E. 550 N.  Friends may visit with family Tuesday, Sept. 30 ^th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E., and Wednesday from 9:45 – 10:45 am at the church prior to services.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
