Joel Lundberg, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in San Diego, California.

He was born March 2, 1936, in Ogden, Utah to Richard and Margrite Lundberg.

Joel married his sweetheart, Beverly Manley, on July 19, 1957, in the Logan LDS Temple and they remained virtually inseparable thereafter. Joel was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who cherished his family.

He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and attended Weber State College for two years. He worked and retired after 35 years of service at HAFB as a Physical Science Technician.

He was a faithful member of the LDS church. He enjoyed country music, camping, riding ATV''s and spending time with his family and friends.

Joel is survived by his wife, Beverly, of West Haven; and children, sons Craig Joel (Linda), Wellsville; Kent Andrew, Clinton; Scott Richard, West Haven; daughter Wendy (Robin) Anderson, Roy; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his sisters, Leah (Jerry) Larson, Reah Lundberg, and Mary Lou (Alan) Bateman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Margrite, and one son, Lynn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 4th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Family will meet with friends at the mortuary on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
