John Dahl Abrams

John Dahl Abrams, 82, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 28, 1931 in West Point, Utah to Raleigh and Mary L. Dahl Abrams. He was raised and educated in West Point and has resided there for over 50 years.

After graduation, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

On May 20, 1955, John married Lorraine Meldrum in the Logan LDS Temple.

He worked as an Aircraft Maintenance Inspector while also driving a school bus.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating.

John is survived by his wife, Lorraine; one son, Neil John (Whitney) Abrams, Apache Junction, AZ; one daughter, Janet A. (Kevin) Nance, West Point; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Doyle, and twin sons.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the West Point Cemetery, 40 North 4000 West.
