John Ray Bower

Our loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, John Ray Bower, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Sunday, March 21, 2010, after fighting with chronic pancreatitis for ten years.

He was born March 14, 1967, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Montie Ray and Alice May Louise Montoya Bower.

John served a mission for the LDS Church to Ireland Dublin and he was able to go back and visit just a few months ago.

On August 7, 1999, John married Penny Lee Wold in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.

He was a Computer Network Administrator.

He loved camping, fishing, shooting, and being outdoors with his family.

John is survived by his wife, Penny; their three children whom he cherished, Caddis Ray (6), Evanslee Breinn (9), Miko Jamie (4); his mother; and four sisters, Louise (Mark) Weilenmann, Martha Bower, Donna Bower, and Juanita (Bill) Young.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Jason Doyle.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25th at 11 a.m. at the Clinton 2nd Ward Chapel, 1300 North 2841 West.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and on Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Preston Cemetery, Idaho.
