John Brandenburg

ROY – John Carl Brandenburg, 56, passed away March 31, 2016 at his home.

He was born September 22, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Wilson Charles Brandenburg Jr. and Glenda Allen Cowger Brandenburg.

He worked at Hill Air Force Base.  John was a very active blood donor and supporter in the communities in which he lived, helping those in need.  He was a member of the Freemasons.

John enjoyed his collection of guns, being outdoors, hiking, fishing, traveling the world and trying new foods.  He was a very kind and generous person.  His co-workers and HAFB enjoyed the gifts they received from him this past Christmas.

Surviving are his son Thomas, daughters, Rebecca (Martyn), Stephanie, granddaughter, Alana, three sisters, Valerie, Rosanna and Patricia.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.
