John H. Buehler

John Herbert Buehler, 55, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

He was born September 27, 1953, in Ogden, Utah to Douglas Carl and Ruth Mary Purdy Buehler. He was raised and educated in Ogden.

John had a passion for cooking and liked to entertain family and friends with cookouts. His time spent camping and fishing with loved ones was among his favorite things in life. John loved all holidays, with Christmas being his favorite. He enjoyed participating in and watching sports especially football.

John is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his father, Carl; two sons, Bryan and Travis Buehler, North Ogden; three daughters, Michelle Albee, South Ogden; Stephanie (Corey) Naylor, Harrisville; Melissa (Nate) Stumm, Farr West; six siblings, Doug (Marilyn) Buehler, Ogden; Barbara (Ross) Messerly, Marriott/Slaterville; Gina (Randy) Robins, WA; JoAnne (Rick) Daniels, Ogden; Larry (Darla) Buehler, Ogden; Gary Buehler, Ogden; and eight grandchildren, Gage, Logan, Korbin, Kira, Brayden, Payton, Rileigh and Kali.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15th at 3:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
