John Douglas Clark, 75, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017.  He was born in Ogden, Utah, on January 24, 1942, the son of Tyrus and Emma Willard Clark.  John’s dad was killed during World War II and his mom married Ralph Taylor. John graduated from Weber High School class of 1960. 

John married Sherilyn Gibson on March 30, 1963 in Elko, NV. 

He served in the Army Reserves.  He delivered milk for Cream of Weber and later Meadowgold Dairy before retiring in 1999. 

John loved camping, hunting, and fishing and at one time, was an avid golfer. Most of all he loved spending time and enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

John is survived by his sons, Corey and T.J.; his daughters, Shawna (Steve) Ulm and Kristi Clark; six grandchildren, Wyatt (Danielle) Goodell, Cameron (Bailey) Goodell, Cortney  Ballif, Britney Ballif, Ellie Clark, and Macie Clark; four great-grandchildren, Athena (Dillon) Wright, Tyrus Goodell, Gabe Gross, and Jayce Goodell; brother, Terry (Kathy) Taylor; and sister, Dixie Mickelson.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Suzann Stoney who passed away one week earlier.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2017 a 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Liberty City Cemetery.
