In loving memory of John Michael “Mike” Douglas, a dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and leader. Mike passed away on November 15, 2023, after bravely facing a swift and aggressive battle with cancer.
From a young age, Mike displayed a strong sense of independence, moving out as a teenager to forge his own path. For over two decades, he devoted himself to HAFB, showcasing unwavering dedication to his work.
Beyond his professional life, Mike poured his heart into making his house a haven, whether through rebuilding his deck, tending to the lawn, or perfecting his basement. He was not only a pillar of his family but also a patriot who loved his country deeply.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures, cherishing moments with his beloved dogs Rigby and Marley, relishing bike rides, golf outings, and family time. His passion for travel and the occasional blackjack game added color to his days.
Mike is survived by his wife, the love of his life of 22 years, Anna Douglas; their daughters, Porscha Douglas, Keylee Harmon and their son, Talon Harmon; stepmother, Shirley Douglas; brother, Lee Kopinski; sister, Kristi (Robert) Lucero; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. He now joins his parents, John Wayne Douglass and Judy Ann Ritchins, his in-laws Larry and Betty Gleason, and his loyal dog Zoey.
A celebration of Mike’s life will take place in the Community Room at the Lindquist Office Building, 3434 Washington Blvd. Ogden, UT 84401 on Saturday, November 25, from 4-6pm. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist's Syracuse Mortuary.
