John Edward Miller

John Edward Miller, age 85, of Clearfield Utah (originally Springfield Illinois), passed away on August 8, 2023 due to complications of a stroke and COPD.  He is survived by his wife, Wanda of Clearfield Utah;  his sister Yvonne Rhodes;  his daughter, Teri Fleckenstein, (husband Tim), grandson Greg (wife Hanna)  great granddaughters Heidi, Darcy and Annette, grandson Ryan (fiancé Sophia); daughter Cherie Miller-Kling (husband John) grandson Henry Kling; stepdaughter Deborah Dickison (husband Hugh) and grandsons Matthew Waters ( wife Kelly) great grandsons Lincoln, Justin and Bowen, Joshua Waters (fiancé Kimberly) and Ryan Dickison; stepson Robert E Paice Jr. (wife Lynn)  granddaughter Vicky Quinn (husband Jason) great granddaughter Sophie, grandsons Kevin Paice and Adam Paice; stepson Jeffery Paice (wife Lori), grandson Jeffery Paice Jr. (wife Katelyn) great granddaughters Sidney and Saylor, granddaughter Sarah  Zavala (husband Efrain); stepdaughter Laura Pickard, granddaughter Ashly Silvester (husband Robert) great grandson Nash, great granddaughters Nell and Navy, grandsons Robert Pickard, Ethan Pickard and Ryan Pickard.

He was preceded in death by his father Lee Roy B. Miller, mother Grace A. Shive, son Mark Miller and stepmother Ruthie Drury (husband Tom).

John was born in Springfield Illinois, April 26, 1938. He attended school there and graduated from Feitshans High School in Springfield.  He John was a plumber by trade and was a 65 year member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 137.  After retirement he moved to La Habra, California, Phoenix, Arizona, Laurie, Missouri, Lebanon, Missouri and finally Clearfield, Utah.

A grave side memorial service will be held in Springfield, Illinois on September 16, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m.
