John C. Francis

On October 8, 2015 our beloved husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather walked peacefully through heaven’s gates and is now in the hands of God.

John was born June 11, 1943 to William E. and Bessie Francis.  On April 24, 1970 he married the love of his life, Margaret Evans in Layton, and was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 25, 1971.

He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and fishing, and spending quality time with his large family.  John was an avid gardener as well as attaining his private pilot’s license.  He enjoyed his flight time.
