John “Jack” Albert Moline
WASHINGTON TERRACE – John “Jack” Albert Moline, 83, died peacefully at his home, Monday, November 10, 2008 of natural causes.
He was born May 12, 1925 in Taylor, Utah a son of John E. and Mary Fielding Moline. He married Mary Lou Jacobs on March 1946 in Ogden, Utah. They later divorced.
Jack was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
During WWII, Jack served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Lassen for 3 years.
Jack enjoyed clogging, square dancing with the Single Swingers Square Dancers Association, and traveling, art and spending time with his children and grandchildren. After earning his cosmetology license, Jack opened the Country Club Beauty Shop in South Ogden, Utah, which he ran for over 50 years.
After retiring, Jack worked at the Union Station in the Art gallery.
Surviving are two sons and two daughters, John “Craig” (Colleen) Moline, Greenbrier, AR; George “Tom” (Marsha) Moline, Taylor, UT; Patsy R. (Leonard) Andreasen, Ogden, UT; Cheri L. (Jerry) Jensen, Smithfield, UT. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, June Everett, Maybelle Landers, Doris Owens, and Leona Moline, and one brother Harold Moline.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Washington Terrace 6th Ward chapel, 4760 South 200 East Washington Terrace.
Friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Interment at West Weber Cemetery
