John Robert Painter

John R. Painter July 6, 2012 John lost his fight with life. He was a strong man, with strong hands but soft hugs. He had a work ethic that business now days only wish their employees had. John owned Painter Electric for 40 years. He was a quiet man with strong opinions. As a young man John served in the Navy. He was born on October 19, 1943 in Farr West, Utah. John was married to Grace for 20 years and had five children with her, Jill Davis, Robert Painter, Heidi Painter, Windie Weber and Jon (Tarzan) Painter. John has eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He will be joining his parents James Leslie and Donna Painter and grandson Randy Bell. John will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Syracuse City Cemetery where we will bury our father and best friend. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
