KAYSVILLE a€" John Joseph Richison Jr, 67, passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 at his home.

He was born November 11, 1941 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of John Joseph and Edna Cain Richison.

John served in the Marines. He married Connie Jo Winslow on August 21, 1964 in Santa Ana, CA. John retired from HAFB with 43 years of service.

He loved hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors. He liked small wood works, loved native Indian heritage and his family.

John was a faithful Christian man and enjoyed bible study and always in all ways had impact on all who knew him. His life was his wife whom he loved with all his heart and was a constant companion here, and now waits for her there because of the special bond they share in the forgiving blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was his wife''s hero.

Surviving are his wife Connie Jo Richison, son Shannon Joseph Richison, daughters, Traci Lynn Richison, Robin Kay Richison, mother Edna Malm, brothers Gary Richison, Bobby Richison, Greg McNabb, Ricky McNabb, sister Patti Paterson, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Cody Rendon was his first grandchild whom he loved and nurtured his whole life. Preceded in death by his father John Richison and first granddaughter Angel Richison.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 19, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
