John Wayne Taylor, 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2013, after a brave battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born on June 1, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Nephi Welling Taylor and Drucilla Moon Taylor. He married Nadine Cox (later divorced) and had four children together. He married the love of his life, Victoria Riso in 1992 and they spent the next 21 loving years together. John was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a mission in the North East British Mission as well as many other church callings throughout his life. John was always interested in serving others. He graduated from Utah State University with his Bachelors degree and later received his Masters degree. John loved his investigational careers; his favorites were Air force OSI and Special Agent with the FBI. His true passions in life were gardening, fishing, golfing, and being with his family.

John is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Nolan. He is survived by his wife, Victoria; his children: Ashley Taylor (Lane) Halversen, Jonathan (Alena) Taylor, Alexia (Scott) Francis, James (Jill) Taylor, Carlee (Paul) Schopp, Haylee (Doug) Smith; and 24 grandchildren; brothers, Lowell (Marie) Taylor, Richard (Gail) Taylor; sister, Janet (Malcolm) Harvey.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 2 pm at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 12:30 to 1:30 pm before the services. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, sentiments are requested to be directed to the Wells Fargo John W. Taylor Memorial Fund. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Sandy Health and Rehab for their wonderful care of John in his last few weeks.
