Jonathan David (J.D.) Evans

Jonathan David (J.D.) Evans, 32, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 of cancer. He was born August 22, 1976 in Tacoma, WA, the son of David G. and Deborah Quick Evans. He and his dearest friend and fiancAC., Kristen Miller, were planning a November wedding.

As the son in an Air Force family J.D. was privileged to live in England, Japan and in many locations in the U.S.A. including Ogden and Kaysville, UT. He was a Davis Dart, graduating in 1994. He loved sports, especially football. He coached baseball and basketball and was admired by his young teams. He played football at Snow College and attended Weber State University. He grew up wearing Cougar blue and remained an avid fan.

J.D. was an Eagle Scout and served an LDS mission in the North Carolina, Charlotte Mission (1995-97). He was employed by C.R. England. He maintained a close circle of loyal and loving friends. He loved being a big brother and uncle.

He is survived by his parents of Kaysville, UT; his daughter and the love of his life, Kylie Victoria; fiancAC., Kristen Miller; sisters, Allison and Ashley Evans; brother Todd Evans; niece, Riley; step-son, Jase Miller-Rees; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Kaysville Stake Center, 615 North Flint Street. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street and Tuesday from 12:45 to 1:30 at the church.
