Jose David Coria
WEST POINT – Jose David Coria was born November 26, 1953 in Cuma, Michoacan, Mexico
to Artemio and Esperanza Coria. He was the sixth of seven children; Policarpo (Elva) Coria, Dolores (Natividad) Madrigal, Gilberto (Luz Maria) Coria, Serafina (Julio) Aparicio, Celia (Fransisco) Silva, and Rafael (Abigail) Coria.
He came to the United States as a teenager and fell in love with his one and only, Elvira. They were married for 37 years. David and Elvira had three children, Carlos (Norma), Angel (Marlene), Elizabeth (Kyle) Creamer. They had the joy of growing their family by eight grandchildren who remember their grandpa as funny and loving. He loved kissing them with his mustache to make them giggle.
As a young man he loved to play soccer and had a mean bicycle kick. He loved to sing and fish and had friends everywhere he went.
David joined his parents and brother, Gilberto on Wednesday, January 23, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30th at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church,
514 24th Street, Ogden.
The family will meet with friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
