Jose P. Hernandez

Jose P. Hernandez OGDEN – Jose Pepe Hernandez, 60, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at his home in Ogden. He was born September 26, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas, a son of Jesus C. and Susana Cardona Hernandez. In July of 1997, Jose married Linda Gurule in Ogden. He was raised and educated in Texas and had lived in Nevada, moving to the Ogden area in 1986 where he resided until his death. Jose served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps during the VietnamWar. He worked for Autoliv for many years as a technician. Jose enjoyed traveling, meeting people, fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife, Linda, of Ogden; sons, Pepe Jr., Anthony, Michael and Adrian Hernandez, daughter, Jessica Hernandez, and 12 grandchildren. Also surviving are his parents, Jesus and Susana Hernandez, two brothers, Jesse and Daniel Hernandez, and his sister Mary Hernandez. Preceding Jose in death was his brother, Martin Hernandez. The family expresses special thanks to Alpine Hospice for their loving care of Jose.
