Jose “Joe” “Tata” Trujillo

Jose "Joe" "Tata" Trujillo was born August 27, 1930. Joe was a beloved Husband married to his loving wife Lillie for sixty one years, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.  Joe was 85, and after a two year struggle with health issues, finally gave up the ship on February 2, 2016.

Joe was born in Alcalde, New Mexico, and was a lifetime resident of Clearfield. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and worked as a Missile Transport painter until retirement at Hill Air Force Base.

With his passing, he leaves behind his wife Lillie, nine children: Joy (George) Dupin, Jody (Kim) Trujillo, Dino Trujillo, Ray (Julie) Trujillo, Feama (Kelly) Sleeman, Beth (Dave) Holt, Rico Trujillo (Julie), Felina Trujillo, Sergio Trujillo, 23 Grandchildren and 23 Great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, Layton, Utah.  Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  A Vigil with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
