WEST VALLEY a€" Joseph Ernest Dupuis, 71, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 at his home after his battle with cancer.

Joseph was born August 6, 1936, in Methuen, Massachusetts, to Henry Joseph and Julia Marie Desfosses Dupuis. He married Doris Jean Miller on November 17, 1956 in Glenns Ferry, Idaho.

Joseph was a member of the Catholic Church. He served 21 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Korea and Vietnam.

He loved to camp and belonged to the Advisory Board Camper World.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; sons Joseph , and John , both of Salt Lake City; and daughter Corinne (Jerry) Hardy, Syracuse; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; brother Albert and sisters Lucille (Al) LaChance, Mary Dupuis, and Doris Indeglia; and sister in-law Doris Dupuis, all of Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Henry J. and Robert H.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 2, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
