Joseph Craig Inglet passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013. Craig was born December 27, 1940 in Preston, Idaho, the youngest child of Melvin James and Zelda Lewis Inglet. The family moved to Clearfield, Utah when Craig was four, where he attended elementary school. At the age of 12, Craig was stricken with polio and spent two years in Primary Children''s Hospital. He graduated from Davis High School and attended Weber State College.

Craig was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Craig worked for Litton Industries and at Hill Air Force Base, retiring in 1986 due to declining health. He had a love for automobiles, building dragsters and hot rods with his many friends. Through the Staggs Car Club he developed many lifelong friendships.

For the past 27 years Craig has lived with his sister or brother, who lovingly cared for him. Faced with many health challenges, Craig was a kind, quiet, patient and positive example, enduring to the end.

Craig is survived by many dedicated and devoted friends, his sister, Elaine Burningham, Layton, UT and his brother Melvin L. Inglet (Judy Kauffman), Lompoc, CA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews who loved him as their brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Verlene, Faye and Kaye; his brother-in-law, Wayne Burningham, and nephew, Chet Inglet.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family one hour prior to services.

Interment will be at the Fairview, Idaho Cemetery at a later date.
