Joseph Kent James SUNSET – Joseph Kent James, 31, of Sunset, Utah passed away Monday January 11, 2010. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Nancy James on September 21, 1978. He married Nicole Dawn Dunlap on May 5, 2001. Three beautiful children, Emma, Alexis and Joey, made their family complete. His greatest loves in life were family, friends, hunting, fishing, camping and welding. He attended Highland High School. He is survived by his beautiful wife and children, his mothers Nancy James, Vicky Gardner, Connie Dunlap; fathers Robert Gardner and Bruce Dunlap; uncles Randy James and Kenneth Jones; brothers and sisters Vince (Sharon) Vinson, Wade Campbell, Robert Vinson, Beth (Matt) Carr, Vicky Gardner, Nancy (Jason) Lovato, Randi Gardner (Kyle Adam), Kyle James, Montana Gardner, James Dunlap, Brenda Shaw and Amanda Dunlap; friends for many years Monique Kaiser Clevenger and Carlos (Tanya) Posada. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends that looked up to him. Preceded in death by Grandpa and Grandma James, his little sister Dikota Gardner, and Aunt Carolyn Jones. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may gather Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
