Joseph H. Kilgrow
Joe passed away, April 12, 2016 at his home as a result of a subdural hematoma, with his family near his side.
He was born to William and Nita Kilgrow, April 20, 1936. He was one of nine children.
Joe married his sweetheart and devoted wife Janice Parkin September 27, 1952.
Joe served during the Korean War from 1954 to 1956. After serving, he attended Westminster College for one year then on to the U of U where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. He later earned his Masters from Utah State University. He worked ten years at the VA Hospital, then 23 years at Hill Air Force Base.
He loved golf and enjoyed skiing and working with stained glass. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, daughters Terri (Paul)Winter, Debbie (Bill) Arnold; sons Scott (Barbara), Sean (Rima); brothers Ray (Doris), Jack (Kathy); sister Kareen Hopkins; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and four sisters.
At Joe’s request, no services will be held. There will be a gathering for family and close friends at the home of Terri and Paul to celebrate Joe’s life on Saturday, May 7, 2016.
