CLINTON a€" Joseph Stanley Klechkowski, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011.

He was born September 14, 1937 in Glen Cove, New York the son of Zigmont and Anna Patrick Kleckowski.

Joseph served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam retiring after 20 years as MSgt. He was a disabled veteran. After retiring from the USAF he worked for 20 years at Thiokol on the space shuttle as a Maintenance Supervisor.

He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Joseph loved to go fishing in the outdoors. He was a man with a big heart and loved his family, friends and neighbors. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are his son, Joseph (Christine), Clinton; daughters, Charlene Boyer, Benicia, CA; Carrie (Darroll) Hanson, Clearfield; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and brother Peter, New York.

Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Services entrusted to Lindquist Ogden Mortuary.
