Joseph Allen May
Joseph Allen May, passed away on September 22, 2013 from Alzheimer’s.
He was born on April 13, 1931 in Worland, Wyoming to Frank and Wanda May.
He married Pat Givines, together they raised three children which he loved and adored, Wally May, Dale May (Connie), Gale Alters (Steve). Pat and Joe later divorced. He married Wanda Ray and he was a loving father to her daughters, Shannon Miller (Jim), Robin Dale, Laurie Eastland (Charlie). Wanda preceded him in death in 2004.
In 2007 he met his honey, Annette Hicks, and they were married in 2009. Together they enjoyed Wii bowling, cards with long-time friends, and were devoted companions. He was loved dearly by her children, Jacquie Winrow (Don) and Lynn Hicks (Sandy).
Joe was proud to boast that he retired from Mountain Bell, or “Ma Bell”, after 35 years of dedicated service. One of his favorite accomplishments was building a cabin with his long-time friend, Huck and his wife Tenny. Joe was a kind, gentle, and caring man and often offered a smile “thumbs up” to those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Annette, his children, many grandchildren and brother Danny May (Shellie).
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Wanda, brothers Reid May (Gaby) and Dean May (Cheryll).

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
