Joseph Peter White

May 13, 1930 ~ January 6, 2017

Born in Sherrill Mound to Victor and Emma Miller White, Joe was an Iowa farm boy.  He was always proud of that heritage.

After graduating from St. John’s Catholic School, Joe served his country in the Air Force.

Joe married Rozella Trebon in 1957 and they had four children, Mark Joseph (Gaylene), Michele Marie (Steve) Lipinski, Victor Paul, and Christopher Andrew (Lisa).  Joe and Rozella were happily married for 33 years.  She passed away in 1990.  They also have two grandsons and two great-grandsons.

Joe married Marion Dunlop in 1998.  They square-danced  until they couldn’t any longer.  They lived in Lake Ozark, MO; Richfield, UT, and in Ogden, UT.  They were very happy for 18 years.

A Memorial Mass was held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. James the Just Catholic Church, 495 N Harrison Blvd., Ogden. Interment with military honors will occur at a later time at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.
