Joseph R. Thomas HEBER CITY – Joseph Rex Thomas, 57, died peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City following a short illness. He was born October 13, 1950 in Ogden, a son of James Paul and Mary Ellen Connell Thomas. He lived in Clearfield for most of his life and resided in Heber City for the past four years. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and loved to dance. Surviving are two brothers and four sisters, David J. (Carolyn) Thomas, Daniel (Kathleen) Thomas, Mary (Jim) Gardner, Lois (Mark) Cummings, Sharon (Joe) North, Hannah (Randy) Berrett, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Deborah and Rachel, and one brother, Michael. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road. Funeral Directors, Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
