WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio a€" Josephine Julie Ramirez Matthews, 56, formerly of Ogden, died Friday, March 6, 2009 in West Carrollton, Ohio.

She was born August 6, 1952 in St. Joseph''s Missouri, a daughter of John Ned and Josephine Salcedo Ramirez.

Josephine enjoyed cooking, dancing, all Christian beliefs and interest in, and dedication to, her grandchildren, friends and family. She never met a stranger and helped and loved everyone. Josephine helped many and gave her kind heart to all. She will be loved and missed by all.

Surviving are her daughter, Monique (Kalid) Mustafa, West Carrollton, OH; two grandchildren, Romy and Amina; one brother, Joe (Stella) Ramirez, Plumas Lake, CA; and two sisters, Jessie Langenwalter, Ogden; and Juanita Maestaz, Banning, CA.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
