Josette Willow Nightingale

A home going celebration for Josette Willow Nightingale.

My Lord, The baby is dead! Our baby girl Josette is dead!

Why, my Lord—dare I ask why? She will not hear the whisper of the wind or see the beauty of her parents’ face—she will not see the beauty of Your creation or the flame of a sunrise. Why, my Lord?

“I AM the lord your God, Why, My child—do you ask ‘why’? Well, I will tell you why.

You see, My child lives. Instead of the wind... she hears the sound of angels singing before My throne. Instead of the beauty that passes she sees everlasting Beauty—she sees My Face. She was created and lived a short time so the image of her parents imprinted on her face may stand before Me as their personal intercessor. She knows secrets of heaven unknown to men on earth. She laughs with a special joy that only the innocent possess. My ways are Not the ways of man. I create for My Kingdom... and each creature fills a place in that Kingdom that could not be filled by another. She was created for My Joy...and her parents’ merits. She has never seen pain or sin. She has never felt hunger or pain. I breathed a soul into a seed, made it grow...and called it forth.”

My dear lord, I am humbled before you, for questioning Your wisdom, goodness, and love. I speak as a fool—forgive me. I acknowledge Your sovereign rights over life and death. I thank You for Josettes beautiful little life that began, For so short a time to enjoy, For so long an Eternity to live.

Josette Willow Nightingale passed away in Mommy’s womb and was stillborn June 18, 2015. She was delivered at Ogden Regional Medical Center by midwife Kathy Mark.

She is the daughter of Guion Taber and Tonya Dezirae (Sandoval) Nightingale.

She enjoyed being perfect, playing and dancing in mommys tummy. She's a beautiful little soul that will be thought of every day that we live. Mommy and daddy spent a very special day with her...loving on her, kissing, snuggeling, and telling her how special, important and loved she is. Brother Noah and sister Jazeel along with other family members spent time with her as well. We are confident that She will forever be a Saint in Heaven watching over all of us. Pray for us baby!

Surviving are her parents, brother Noah Nightingale (8 years) sister Jazeel Nightingale (6 years), grandparents, Richard and Rita Sandoval, Guion T. Nightingale Sr. and Laura Nielson, great grandmother, Mary Pacheco, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Preceded in death by Joe O. and Sarah Sandoval (great grand parents) Sam Pacheco, ( great grand father ) William and Anne Nightingale ( great grand parents) and Melba Gibson( great grand mother) Joe and William of whom she was named after.

We have a memorial account set up for her in her name at www.USBank.com where friends and family can go to donate if they wish. You can give them her name and they can find it that way or you can give them her account # 4317 1987 4054 5217. Thank you for your support and love. We know our Josette is safe in the arms of Jesus. Please remember us in your prayers.
