Joshua Eli Bollar was born in Soda Springs, Idaho, March 22, 1977. His parents are J.V. Bollar, of Soda Springs, Idaho and Marlyn Bagley of Idaho Falls, Idaho. His siblings are Angie Dawn Bollar, Ammon, Idaho; Nathan Bollar, Soda Springs, Idaho; and Jerid Meek, California.
As a young boy he enjoyed the outdoors. He learned to fish from his favorite uncle Rick Bollar, and hunting from his best friend and grandpa Lowell Smart. His love of the outdoors extended well into adulthood. He loved to hunt, fish, shoot guns, and play with his dogs Camo, Harlee, and Belmar. He attended Fremont High School where he was involved in rodeo and excelled at riding bareback horses. He joined the plumbing industry, Local 140. While working as a plumber, he met and made many lasting friends and was known as a hard worker.
Josh was a long-time sweetheart to Heather Kelley and they married on February 28, 2020. From that union he gained two daughters, Brailyn Scott (Keegan), and Kylee Young (Aaron Beenken) and one adored grandson, Ronan Scott, with whom he spent many fun hours. He loved spending time with his nieces, Carty, Peyton, and Reese.
Josh will be greatly missed. He passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2023.
A celebration of life will be held June 3, 2023 at Elks Lodge, 1875 5200 S. St, Roy, UT from 2 to 5 p.m.
