Josh passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at his home.
Our beloved son and brother, was born June 4, 1982. He was the third child of Karen (Passey) and Dave Fowers. In our family, Josh was surrounded by two older sisters, Rachel and Amy, and one younger sister, Julie. They influenced each other in ever present, rewarding and loving ways and continue to do so now.
Rachel currently lives in Miramar, Florida with her husband, Richard Lawrence and their two children, Connor and Blake. Amy lives in Hyrum, Utah with her husband, Wade Miller and their five children, Weston, Macy, Maya, Brooke, and Kaylyn. Julie continues to live at home.
Josh attended the local schools, graduating from Ogden High School and was attending Weber State University. One of Josh''s greatest joys, after his family and friends, was his participation in sporting activities. Throughout his youth, he enjoyed and excelled in basketball, baseball and soccer. In soccer, his career and those of his close friends, culminated in the Utah State High School Championship.
Another major aspect of Josh''s life was his interest in music. Music provided an avenue for enjoyment, introspection and motivation. He was always sharing song with meaning and interest with others. Music was and is an integral part of Josh''s strong spiritual nature. A nature, which we are confident, will continue to grow.
Josh was a wonderful, kind and gentle person to be around. Those who knew him loved him and he loved them. We will miss his beautiful smile and warm spirit more than any words can ever express.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
