1983 - 2018

Our son, brother, uncle and friend Joshua Howard Gibbons, was unexpectedly called home to be with our Savior on Saturday, August 4, 2018.

Josh was born on March 3, 1983 in Ogden, Utah, the first child of Howard and Paulene Markham Gibbons. He grew up in Clinton and South Weber playing baseball and graduated from Northridge High School in 2001 where he played football.

Josh had a very unique personality. He could always make you smile and he gave the best teddy bear hugs! He loved and was very devoted to his little dog, Moose. They were inseparable. His niece, Addie, was very precious to him.

Josh worked for Clearfield Auto Parts and PGI Fabpro. He has worked at the Outlaw Saloon for the past five years where he was better known as "Giggles".

Josh left behind his parents, Howard and Paulene (Markham) Gibbons, siblings, Bobby and Chelsey, his niece Addalyn, and his dog, Moose. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleary and Dorothy (Poll) Markham, Richard and Thelma (Jewel) Gibbons, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

There will be a public viewing on Saturday, August 11 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South from noon-1:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Uintah Cemetery, 1500 East 6450 South, Uintah, where Josh's friends and family are invited to share memories of Josh.
