Josie LaRae Stoker Pyper "Together Forever" 1932-2010

At 11:15 pm on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, LaRae quietly slipped into her heavenly rest while holding the hand of her eternal companion.

LaRae was born to Royal and Josephine Stoker on April 18, 1932. She graduated from South High School in 1949. She married Ross J. Pyper on September 28, 1951 in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they have five children: Lee (Perla) Pyper; Rob (Karen) Pyper; Melani (Dave) Porter; Melissa Dorronsoro, Jodi (Brent) Chowen. They have 23 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

LaRae served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including choir director, stake missionary, teacher and faithful follower of her Savior. She has many loving friends and will be missed.

A very special thanks to Melissa, Tina, and the rest of the loving staff of the South Davis Community Hospital Hospice.

Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Bountiful 26th Ward Chapel, 200 N. 200 W. where friends may visit from 8:45-9:45 am prior to services. She will be placed to rest in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
