Joyce Ellen Adams

Joyce Ellen Adams, 74, of Modesto, CA died Frebruary 24, 2013 in Modesto after a short battle with cancer.

She was born March 16, 1938 to Gilbert and Virginia McDowell. She graduated from West High School in Salt Lake City and lived in Salt Lake City and Clearfield, UT and Modesto and Waterford, California.

She retired from the Internal Revenue Service.

She is survived by her sons, Scott Hill, Brian Hill, Don Hill, Billy Sisco, Marshall Adams; daughter Tracy Budge; sisters Margaret Davis, Annette Stacey, Elaine Velinga, Martha Sandone; brothers, Gilbert McDowell and Charles McDowell.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. Friends may visit with famiy from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.
