Joyce M Jenkins passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 23, 2024. Joyce was born May 14, 1933, in Ogden, Utah, to George and Jeanette Hammond. She was later adopted by Velma Faddis from Kemmerer, Wyoming.

Joyce spent her early years going to school in Kemmerer before moving to Ogden, Utah. She met Arnold L Jenkins in 1959 and on December 5, 1959, they married, combining their family to five. Two more sons would later join the family a few years later.

Joyce worked for the Boeing Corp until her retirement in 1987. During her retirement years, her and dad would travel in the motorhome to Washington state to fish for Salmon, tuna and sturgis, canning their catch. They would also stop by LaMars house in Portland, Oregon to visit with him and his family. They would spend their winters in Yuma, Arizona with the other "snow birds" migrating there for the winter. When health reasons stopped them from traveling, they made their way back home to Riverdale, Utah, eventually moving to Roy, Utah at Sunridge Assisted Living.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arnold L. Jenkins; daughter, M. Susan (Bruce) Carlsen, Logan, Utah; Lynn Allan (Rhonda) Jenkins, West Haven, Utah; LaMar Evan (Jana) Jenkins, Twin Falls, ID; Rick (Shelley), Riverdale, Utah; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; adoptive mother, Velma Faddis; a son, A. Chad Jenkins; mother and father-in-law, Emma and Lavon Jenkins.

A celebration of life and internment will be held at a later date to be determined.
