WEST POINT a€" Joyce Olsen, 68, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center.

She was born April 10, 1942 in Bremerton, Washington the daughter of Lawrence Sorenson and Verna Lowe Crosbie.

Joyce married Joseph Clyde Olsen in the Ogden LDS Temple. Together, they had two sons, David and Lynn.

She was an active member of the LDS Church. Joyce earned the Golden Gleaner Award. She loved watching sports and she was an avid Utah Jazz fan.

She loved her family and grandchildren, Austin, Jake, Brandyn and Camdyn.

Surviving are her son David (Cheryl), West Point; four grandchildren, sister, Diane Furgeson, Tooele; two half-brothers, Merrill Crosbie and Robert Crosbie, step-brother, Reed Crosbie and step-sister, Bonnie Campbell.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband and son, Lynn Crosbie Olsen. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Davis Hospital and Medical Center and Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield for the care they gave our mother.
