OGDEN a€" On December 20, 2011, our beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Joyce Baddley Williams, passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia surrounded by her family. Joyce''s endearing personality, unwavering optimism and genuine love for life, family and friends will truly be missed by all who knew her. Joyce was an amazing mother and grandmother and was adored by all her children and grandchildren. Our dear Joyce lived life to the fullest and had many passions. Her greatest joys besides being with her loving husband, Marshall, were sailing on her beloved "Saraban", San Diego, playing bridge with her friends, trips to her cabins, reading and spending any moment she could have with her children, grandchildren, and friends. Joyce was active in her community by serving on the board of directors for the Salvation Army as well as being a member of the Junior League. Joyce was very spiritual and had a special relationship with our dear Heavenly Father and Savior.

Joyce was born on August 13, 1928 in Ogden, Utah to Wallace D. and Grace M. Perry Baddley. She graduated from Ogden High School and went on to receive her B. A. from the University of Utah in 1950. Joyce later received her Masters of Arts degree from Utah State University in 1968. Joyce was a gifted and dedicated educator who loved teaching and sharing her love for learning with her students. She began her teaching career as a young wife at Washington Jr. High School. In 1968 she went on to become a Professor of English Literature at Weber State College where she taught for 23 rewarding years.

Joyce married Richard G. Williams in 1949 and had four children: Debra (Jeff) Wangsgard, Toni (Scott) Lamph, Shelley Williams, and Jeff (Kaylene) Williams. Joyce and Richard later divorced. In 1980 Joyce married Marshall D. Isaacson, and they have been together for 31 wonderful years.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Marshall; her four children and their spouses; two brothers, Brent and Gary Baddley; and ten grandchildren, Jared, Josh, Jody, Jessica, Brooke, Jillian, Megan, Lindsey, Christina, and Kyle.
