Loving friend, father, son, and big brother, Juan G Garcia, Jr. “JJ” born on November 8, 1998 tragically passed away on January 17, 2023. JJ was born in Ogden, Utah to his loving mother Diana Ramirez at McKay Dee Hospital.
JJ attended and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 2017. He was a loving and caring friend to everyone he knew. He was an amazing person all around and loved his friends, family, his loving partner Carolina Robles and his beautiful daughter Maia Garcia.
JJ was also a momma's boy. He loved his mother wholeheartedly. He would always go to his mother for everything and anything and would’ve done anything for her. He was also a sneakerhead who loved getting his hands on the latest drops. JJ was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was always looking forward to going to an NFL Football Game. Everyone that knew JJ also knew how much he enjoyed going to raves and festivals, specifically loved Excision, 12th Planet, and SvddenDeath.
JJ also loved his 3-year-old husky Leia. She was his best friend who went through hardships with her, and they never left each other's side.
JJ had a beautiful 3-month-old daughter with his partner Carolina Robles whom he loved deeply. He was excited to be a father and would talk about the future and goals he had. He talked about going back and finishing college to become an engineer one day.
JJ had a great group of friends in his life and was always down to do anything.
Jr is survived by his mother, Diana Ramirez; sister, Ashley Garcia; brothers, Nathan Garcia, Brandon Espino, and Carter Espino; partner, Carolina Robles; and daughter, Maia Garcia who all loved him deeply.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 2 p.m. Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
