Juan “Johnny” Gomez

October 2, 1966 ~ May 17, 2015

Juan “Johnny” Gomez was a loving person.  He was born on October 2, 1966 in Idaho Falls, ID to Jose and Refugia Gomez.  Johnny was called home to Heaven peacefully on May 17, 2015 surrounded by his family.  He was battling cancer for three years and never lost his faith or sense of humor.

Johnny grew up in Ogden, Utah.  When you knew about Johnny you knew about Jesus!  He was a strong man and had a big heart that always helped others in need.  He will be greatly missed by many people.

Johnny is survived by his five children, 15 grandchildren, seven brothers, and four sisters.

He was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by the love of his life, Tracy; father, and brother, Joe.

Special thanks to the doctors at Huntsman Cancer Institute for giving Johnny excellent care that extended his life and gave his family and friends more precious time to spend with him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
