Juanita Sue Perkins Pruett returned to her heavenly home early Tuesday morning, March 8, 2011. Juanita was born December 8, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana to George Perkins and Nellie Draper Milligan. She enjoyed growing up in North Ogden with her two sisters, Linda and Kathy. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1970 and thereafter attended Ricks College. There she met Laddie Pruett and was married for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they were blessed with seven children; Henry (Nyla), Sarah Ellett, Mary Cullwell, David, Nancy, Emilee (Alex) Jackson, and Jacob (Alicia). She was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She had a testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ and served in many callings in His Church. She possessed many talents and shared them with her children and others. Her family has many memories of spending time with her whether it was baking bread, going on family vacations, or helping fix appliances around the house. She is preceded in death by her parents and by a daughter, Nancy, in 1980. We would like to thank Dr. Hansen and his staff, who were like family as she endured cancer treatments. She ran a day care center for 25 years and appreciates the thoughtfulness of her co-workers at I.R.S. Graveside services will be held Saturday March 12th at 11 a.m. at the American Fork Cemetery, 26 West 600 North. The family will meet with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday March 11th at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
