Judith D. Bithell

1944-2013

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Judith D. Bithell passed away on Sunday June 2, 2013 in Sandy, Utah. Judith Ann Darr was born on June 1, 1944 in Grundy County, Missouri to Ida Lillian Darr and Buford Francis Darr. She had one brother and two sisters. The family moved from Missouri to Sunnyside, Utah, a small mining town where Judy attended and graduated from East Carbon High School. In her youth she loved to go to the Andy''s Malt Shop and hang out at the bowling alley. However, her favorite thing to do was to go dancing. She loved dancing the Jitterbug with her many friends to sounds of Fats Domino and Elvis Presley. Judy had a great love of life and wonderful sense of humor. She was fun to be around.

Judy married Lynn Bithell in 1964. Judy and Lynn were married for 49 years. He was the love of her life. They succeeded in navigating the seas of marriage and raising their three children, a son Paul Bithell and two daughters, Vicky Marcus and Donna Whitney.

Judy''s friends and family adored her. She had a way of making you feel special and loved. Family was number one with mom. We all were so lucky to have her. Her retirement was filled with wonderful memories of family and especially the grandchildren. Arizona in the winter time was a special place for Judy and Lynn. She loved being a snowbird and having Margaritas with her friends. She will be truly missed.
