Judith (Judy) Deeben VanderStappen

Our beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister Judy Deeben VanderStappen, age 40, of Layton, UT, passed away on January 18, 2013.

Judy was born on Nov. 2, 1972, to Jay C. Deeben and Rachel Phillips Deeben.

She married and is survived by the love of her life, Raymond S. VanderStappen. Judy''s world was centered on her family and friends, especially her two very loved children, Caitlin R. Gannon and Kyle R. Gannon.

Judy grew up in Sterling, VA, and also resided in Springville, UT and Layton, UT. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She worked as a caregiver for Homewatch Care Givers, devoting her entire time to the people she loved, her family, friends and clients. When time allowed she enjoyed crafting and cooking.

Judy is survived by her children, parents, sisters, Cynthia Deeben of VA; Pam (Tim) Nicoll of PA; Kristine (Mike) Buck, of UT; Angela Cockrell of VA; brothers, Kent (Darlene) Deeben of VA; Mike (Lisa) Deeben of VA; one great-nephew, two great-nieces, many uncles, aunts and extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Hills Ward, 2300 University Park Blvd., Layton, UT. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be at the Springville, UT, Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made at any branch of Zion''s Bank in her name.
