RIVERDALE a€" Judson Enos Smith Jr. passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 after being very ill at the Veteran''s Hospital. He was born in Springfield, Illinois on June 13, 1929 to Judson Enos and Margurite Akers Smith. His family moved to Flora, Illinois. He attended school in Flora. He was a veteran in the Korean War.

He married Mary Jensen and had two children, Joseph and Elizabeth. They later divorced. He married Georgia Lee Adair and had a daughter, Tina Louise. They later divorced. He married Joyce Ross and had two daughters, Virginia and Jennifer. They later divorced. He has 14 grandchildren.

Joe''s present wife of 34 years is Donna Jean Thompson and has a daughter, Jeannette Lynn Smith. They were sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 17, 1993.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joe, Donna and Jeannet attended a small Branch in Onley Valley, Illinois. He was the Sunday School President and loved this job. Joe, Donna and Jeannet loved the Lakeview and 7th Wards. He had a beautiful testimony of the gospel and wanted to share it with others.

Joe was preceded in death by his father, Judson Enos Smith and mother, Margurite Akers Smith and sister, Hazel.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Lakeview Ward Chapel, 2000 West 4900 South, Roy. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
