Judy M. Harvey

Judy M. Harvey LAYTON – Judy Markley Harvey, 64, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center. She was born March 24, 1945 in Ogden, a daughter of Dewey and Emma Camilla McPhie Rust. In December 1959, Judy married Howard A. Markley Sr. They had three children and later divorced. On February 19, 1977, Judy married John M. Harvey, Jr. They had two children; he preceded her in death in 1994. Judy enjoyed crafts, teaching, playing video games with her grandchildren, sewing, reading, boating, cooking and family gatherings. Surviving are one son and four daughters, Howard (Menchu) Markley, DewAnn (David) Therrien, Doty (Ed) Stephens, Misty (Brad) Harvey, Millisa Harvey; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers and one sister, Richard Rust, Robert (Norma) McPhie, Ronald Rust, and Rosemary (Brian) Bradshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. An open house will be held at the United Church of Christ (UCC), 3350 Harrison Blvd., Ogden, Utah 84403, following the graveside services.
