Judy Ann Hawes entered into eternity, to be with her Savior Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer. She left this world peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
Judy was born on October 6, 1966 in Ogden, Utah, the daughter of William Conrad and Madlyn Snyder. She married her soul mate Randall J. Hawes on September 4, 1987 and together they raised three remarkable children, Rachelle, Ryan and Katey.
Judy had an irresistible and alluring personality. She always looked for the positive in life''s circumstances and motivated others to do the same. She continuously focused on others, even while experiencing her own struggles.
Judy was ambitious, working full time and attending college courses while caring for her family. She attended Stevens-Henagar College in Ogden, Utah and was close to completing a bachelor''s degree at the time she was diagnosed. Judy had a special talent for home decorating and turning a house into a home. She always made her home a warm and inviting place for family and friends to gather.
Judy attended Refuge Church in Riverdale, Utah. She cherished the friendships, uplifting messages and loving support she received from members. Judy had a warm and caring spirit and treasured participating in outreach activities, especially those to help the homeless and needy.
Funeral services to celebrate Judy''s life will be held on Monday, September 16th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
The family will meet with friends Monday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
