Judy Jacobsen

Judy Ann Jacobsen born November 20, 1945, passed away in her home March 31, 2021.

Judy was a loving mother that had an abiding love of gardening, and throughout her life she surrounded herself with colors of nature. Her sweet hospitality lovingly invited all manner of creatures to pass their time in her company. She especially loved the birds and enjoyed feeding and watching their antics. Judy had a passion for natural foods and always sought out the ripest organic ingredients for her home cooking. Judy was a soft presence whose gentle whisper was relished by those closest to her. She was small in stature but grand in her kindness. Judy was the embodiment of perseverance and took every challenge with hope. Through everything she always took time to comfort and take care of those she loved. Judy also had a passion for sewing and has contributed numerous works for all her children to enjoy.

Judy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings including Relief Society and Primary President.

Judy is survived by her husband DeWayne and her five children, Tammy (Ken) Martin, Penny (Clay) Hobbs, Cody (Dana) Jacobsen, Dusty (Natalie) Jacobsen and Robbie (Katie) Jacobsen.

The family wishes to thank Tender Care Hospice for its thoughtful service and Jen Hawkins for her care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 at 12 p.m. at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 S. 2000 W., Syracuse, UT.  Friends may visit family Monday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.  Services will be livestreamed by scrolling to the bottom of this obituary page.
