Judy Ann Zweifel Miller, 68 of Bakersfield, CA and formerly of Ogden, UT, passed away April 16th in Bakersfield, CA. She was born in Ogden to the late DeVere and Genice Zweifel February 14th, a cherished Valentine''s blessing. Judy attended Ben Lomond High School and moved to California in 1969. She was a manager at Foster''s Freeze in Bakersfield for many years. For the last fifteen years Judy was employed at Wal-Mart in Ogden and Bakersfield. Judy was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Judy had a sparkling personality and a great sense of humor. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and was an incredible cook. She especially loved family vacations to Yellowstone. Judy devoted herself to taking loving care of her mother during the last years of her life. Judy is survived by her children, Pamela D. Long (Gary), Thomas Scott Petty (Susan) grandchildren: Jacob Long and Ethan Petty all of Bakersfield, CA.; her brother Alan D. Zweifel; nieces, Jaimee Beynon (Cory), Shellie VanOrman (Dan) and sister Barbara J. Grewal (Gary); nieces, Elizabeth D. Grewal and Olivia F. Grewal. She is also survived by her aunts, Mrs. Donna Ferneilus and Mrs. Helen Hepworth, both of Ogden. Judy loved animals and leaves behind her sweet cat Zoe. A viewing will be held at Lindquist''s Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT on Sunday, April 28th, 6-8 pm. Funeral services on Monday, April 29th 11am. Interment at Washington Heights Memorial Park. The family would like to express their gratitude for the compassionate care Judy received from the staff at Dignity Mercy Hospital SW. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Optimal Hospice, 1675 Chester Ave.,Bakersfield, CA 93301 or your local SPCA. A memorial luncheon in her honor will be held at Stockdale Country Club on May 5th from 2- 4 pm.
