Judy Ann Peterson
Judy Ann Peterson, 50, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013. She was born on September 12, 1962 in Marysville, California to William Charles and Odie Fay Brown Hankins. Judy grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.
She married Chad Peterson on October 6, 1978 in Ogden. They were later divorced.
Judy worked at Hill Air Force Base before she decided she wanted to be a fulltime mom to her children.
She was famous for her crab cheese balls and her cheesecake. She loved life and drinking her Pepsi, but most importantly she loved spending time with and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her Ford Mustang and was very protective of it. She took pleasure in cooking, cleaning, collecting, photographing, camping and dancing.
We will miss you. We love you. Families are forever.
Judy is survived by her best friend and significant other, Kerry Robinson, Uintah; sons, Chad (Carlene) Peterson, Jr., and Justin (Emily) Peterson, both of Ogden; daughters, Sandra (Cody) Lee and Chelsy Peterson (T.C.) both of Ogden; stepson, Cal Robinson; 7 grandchildren; parents, William Charles Hankins and Odie Fay Brown Hughes; stepfather, Rick Hughes; brothers, Kelly (Jo) Dixon, Kim (Nealie) Hughes, and Robert (Sam) Hughes; and sisters, Debra Gurule (Chris Herrick) and Carol (Alan) Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frankie and Ricky Hughes.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Uintah City Cemetery.
